| Marketing Strategy 3 Min Read

Spring is almost here, and for many real estate agents, it signals the start of the busiest time of the year. Before the spring market is in full swing, you should consider getting your marketing materials in order so you can seamlessly and successfully navigate the market and promote your company effectively.

Here are a few things we suggest to get your marketing ready for the spring market.

Refresh Your Print Materials

Are you using the same old flyers, thank-you cards, business cards, and ads? It might be time to refresh your print marketing and get something a little more in-line with your brand and company goals. An effective print campaign utilizes your brand collateral, promotes your business effectively, and has a unified look across all platforms. When your print marketing is fresh and consistent, your target audience will take notice, and you will engage both new and past clients.

Check on Your Content and SEO Strategy

If you don’t already practice ongoing SEO, you should take this time to check on your content and make sure you are hitting the best keywords for your demographic. That way, when people search for you online, your site will rank high on search engine result pages. We’ve written a few blogs in the past about the importance of SEO and how to use it, but one of the best ways to make sure you’re on the right track in terms of SEO is to work with a professional. At Artifkat, we offer SEO services, complete with an ongoing SEO strategy and initial SEO audit.

In terms of content, it would be a great idea to prepare some blog posts and new website content well in advance. If you have five or six blogs ready to go, you won’t have to worry about publishing them during the busy period.

It’s also a good idea to publish blogs a week or two before they genuinely become relevant, so it gives Google time to index the page and ensure it shows up in search engines.

Take a Look at Your Paid Search and Retargeting Ads

If you use paid search in your marketing plans, now’s the time to take a critical look at what’s working and not working for you. Think about the tweaks you can make to your campaigns and make the changes now before spring hits. If your current ads feel old and stagnant, refresh them for something new and eye-catching. But don’t forget to stay true to your overall brand and message.

Update Your Drip Campaigns

Drip campaigns are, for the most part, automated. But they should never be considered a “one and done” solution. You have to measure their effectiveness and make changes to them to keep them relevant. For example, if you have a drip campaign that automatically sends out market updates or your top 3 blogs of the year, it’s essential that you change the content so that it is timely.
