Last week, Artifakt Digital Inc., merged with another agency based in Ottawa, growing our team to 17 people (with 3 more to be added over the next month). I’m pretty proud of this deal and the seriously talented new team we’ve acquired, and I couldn’t have done it without the absolutely incredible, passionate, hard-working team of people we’ve built over the last 5 years here in our Toronto office.

When I started Artifakt Digital Inc back in 2008, I started with the goal of building a business that focused on 2 main things: developing great digital strategies, and providing an awesome client experience along the way. As part of our new merger, I firmly believe that we’ll not only continue with that goal, but also develop it to be even better.

As part of the merger goals, and to increase our reach into new business spaces, we ditched the old artifakt logo I designed 5 long years ago in my basement, and we rebranded our vision for the new Artifakt Digital Inc. entirely. When we rethought our branding, our goal was to focus on making it more elegant, professional, and approachable, and to include some personal aspects of both our creative team and our creative approach to digital work. The finger-print aspect of it is meant to show our individual, hands-on approach to digital strategy, and our focus on avoiding templated solutions to complex digital problems.

To our fantastic clients, thank you for your support, and your business, over the years on this amazing journey that we have the sincere privilege of being on. Looking forward to what the future brings for us together.
